“We first came across Amour Wedding Services when we were looking for designs / styles for our wedding invites. We arranged a meeting and Tessa showed us a multitude of designs, colours and fonts and was instrumental in helping us decide on the final product. We were so impressed with the professional approach adopted by Tessa and the quality of our invites (as were all our guests) that we knew we wanted her to do our Orders of Service too! From there it turned into our place cards, table plan and favours as well. With her contacts and relationships with other Guernsey providers, Tessa even sorted out our table linen and presents for our flower girls. “We used Tessa’s services as a wedding co-ordinator as I still wanted to enjoy the experience of planning my own wedding but I knew that I had a need for a wedding coordinator.
The hotel where we were holding the reception did not have a dedicated wedding planner and consequently I was responsible for dressing the tables, room and any additional details that may be needed, all of which could only be done on the morning of the wedding. This is when I called in Tessa.
Right from the start I was very impressed with her professionalism and the range of contemporary/modern ideas that could be used to dress the event. Tessa was also able to design and create many original reception accessories, such as the table plan. Items were also available for hire from Tessa, which avoided additional cost and unwanted items left at the end of the wedding day.
There were times where I turned to Tessa for help, for example when the Band pulled out and I needed to find a replacement band. Tessa had the contacts of other bands and was able to call them during office hours whilst I was at work. This ‘major’ problem was resolved in a short period of time due to using Tessa’s services.
On the day, Tessa did not disappoint. The room including the tables were perfectly dressed and Tessa was able to ensure that all external and hotel services were delivered correctly. This enabled me to concentrate on myself with the knowledge that all was taken care of by Tessa. I also hired Tessa to coordinate the bus transport to both the Church and Reception. Again, this was one less thing to worry about on the day.
The idea of a wedding coordinator may give the impression of an unnecessary cost and a luxury item, however I believe Tessa saved us money, not to mention a huge amount of stress, along with providing great ideas, support and ensured that the ‘big day’ became our ‘special big day’.”

“I was very impressed with the service & assistance you provided whilst choosing/designing the stationery for our wedding. Nothing was too much trouble and the suggestions and input from yourself were invaluable. I was amazed by the amount of choice of colours, designs and format. We eventually settled for an envelopment Pocketfold style which contained the invitation, reply, menu, gift list and reply envelope which completely met our requirements.
Needless to say both myself and my fiancé were very impressed with the finished invitation and stationery. Since sending out the invitations we have had numerous compliments and comments, as well as several guests not wishing to return their replies because they wished to keep the whole invite as it arrived!
